Ensuring business traveler security
International corporations face extra risk when their employees travel to Latin America and the Caribbean. Secure Pointe offers an integrated suite of Security Services to mitigate that risk.
Local Awareness, Regional Scale, and International Standards
From the airport to the hotel, and from your facility to an after-hours meeting in a restaurant, even a 15-minute journey can be unsafe. The choice of route and method of transportation truly matters, and that choice often depends on local conditions that can change from month to month.
Additionally, the uncertainty of travelling to an unfamiliar location can weigh heavily on your firm’s most valuable assets – your coworkers.
Secure Pointe offers an integrated suite of Security Services to mitigate that risk. It begins with our local drivers, who make the in-person contact with each of your colleagues. They are chosen for their local experience and situational awareness. We measure them on their ability to deliver the service according to a high standard, and they tell us what they observe on the roads.
These drivers and executive protection experts report to our local Country Directors. Information is regularly shared between these two groups and coordinated through our Global Security Operations Center. This 24x7 facility, the first of its kind in Guyana, coordinates travel and best practices at a regional level. Secure Pointe focuses exclusively on Latin America and hires accordingly.
Your company will receive security services that meet an international standard of safety, security, reliability, and predictability. Secure Pointe has an extensive background supporting international oil companies, manufacturing firms, and other world-class firms with human and physical assets that need protection.
Secure Transportation and Executive Protection
Our security escort drivers provide safe and secure transportation for corporate personnel, private families, and even parcels. This service is structured to enhance the security and efficiency of busy executives moving around in any high-risk Latin American environment.
We draw from a network of highly qualified drivers and security personnel that includes former military and law enforcement specialists in providing expert driving skills and close security to clients in moving throughout all risk environments.
Families living in these environments get the advantage of having a driver who is trained and certified as a transportation security specialist who can identify threats. Our drivers also possess the requisite driving skills to mitigate these threats.
All of our own Secure Transportation and Executive Protection drivers have successfully passed a training program conducted by our mobile training team called the Advanced Skills Training & Consulting Group (AST&CG).
Our team is drawn from U.S. and U.K. special operations, law enforcement, and federal agencies. Every member of the team has managed large-scale secure transportation and executive protection teams in locations such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Colombia, and Mexico for both the U.S. and U.K. governments as well the oil and gas industry.
Secure Pointe drivers have been fully trained in safe driving principles, tactical driving, counter-surveillance, executive protection driving, and incident management or immediate action drills (e.g. Actions on Ambush, Actions on Vehicle Break Down, etc.).
We currently offer Secure Transportation and Executive Protection in Guyana, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Panama, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
At Secure Pointe we believe that cultural specialization matters in security and risk management. In fact, we believe it is critical.
This is why we focus on the Latin American market, applying deep regional experience, linguistic ability, and cultural knowledge to help our clients navigate the often complex situations that confront them in the region.
Our focus allows us to provide our clients with solutions that are not only based on a deeper understanding of the environment, but also solutions which are less likely to result in friction points within the cultures where they operate.
